Happy Homemaker Monday

hhm

The weather in my neck of the woods:    Today was beautiful!  It’s still warm out tonight and I’m trying hard to understand how we have a forecast for snow tomorrow night.

One of my simple pleasures:  Sitting in bed, watching tv and crocheting.  Love it!

On my bedside table:  My bible, bible study book and pleasure reading book.

On my TV:  At this moment, 24, but no one is watching it.  It’s being recorded and we will catch up on it soon.

On the menu for tonight:  Tonight we had bbq pork steaks and salad.

On my To Do List:  school, keep the house clean and enjoy my kids.

New Recipe I tried last week:  Italian Meatball soup.   I made it with ground turkey instead of beef.  It was so good!

In the craft basket:  A new afghan that I’m crocheting.

Looking forward to:  This Saturday.  I’ve got a few surprises planned.

Homemaking Tip for this week:  Marry well.  My husband is a great help around the house.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):  Don’t really have one.

Favorite photo from last week:  Here’s a picture of Little Miss Bethel Girl on a walk.

Lesson learned the past few days:  Life is very short, take every opportunity with those you love.

On my Prayer List:   The family of a good friend.  My friend took her own life last week, it’s sad and tragic and you just never know what is going on in other peoples lives.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.
